Providing direct educational and community-building support for therapists in our community who are BIPOC and/or identify as LGBTQIA+

Providing access to safe and competent therapy services for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients

Creating safety for our clients by promoting and facilitating community-wide understanding in areas of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ mental health competency
Clarksville’s House of Healing is a program of Healing in the Margins. The aim of Clarksville’s House of Healing is to meet a need in Clarksville’s community—providing safe, affordable, and competent mental health services for all.

Every clinician and intern at Clarksville’s House of Healing is trained with advanced tools to help clients heal from trauma, navigate the symptoms of PTSD, and C-PTSD.

Our providers work from a framework of “decolonizing therapy”-- making wellness accessible for all members of our society. We strive to make clients feel at home when they walk through our door or log onto a telehealth session. All providers at Clarksville’s House of Healing are trained in cultural competency, ensuring that every client feels safe to do their healing work.
